New sales manager for the US Central Region

Brian PerdueBrian Perdue has joined INFICON as the Central Region Key Account Manager responsible for the company's leak detection and vacuum control products within the Automotive, RAC and key Industrial base in the Central Region states (Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa).

Brian was previously with JGB Enterprises Inc. as an account manager. Prior to JGB, Brian worked for Varian Vacuum Products where he focused on leak detection applications and sales.

Brian has a Bachelor of Science degree in Automotive Technology and a Minor in Business Administration from Pittsburg State University.

Application Support for the US

Lennart LarrsonLennart Larrson is the new Applications & Support engineer for hydrogen leak detectors in the US. He previously worked for INFICON AB in Sweden as application engineer. Lennart has been with INFICON for fourteen years.

Before coming to INFICON, he worked for a survey equipment manufacturer and an air target company in the defense industry.

Lennart graduated from Åva gymnasium in Sweden with a degree in electronics.

INFICON Acquired KeyX GmbH

Volker DahmAs of Jan. 1st, 2014 INFICON has taken over the leak testing business from KeyX GmbH & Co KG, Leipzig, Germany. KeyX was involved with the development, production and sales of leak testing systems based on hydrogen sensor technology. The KeyX leak testing system detects hydrogen without the use of complex and expensive vacuum technology. INFICON has acquired the technology, know-how and assets from KeyX. INFICON is not the successor in law, but will continue sales and support for the KeyX Solutions. Former KeyX customers may contact their known sales partners or contact INFICON directly.

Mr. Volker Dahm is Key Account Manager for hydrogen systems. Volker developed the KeyX technology and founded the KeyX company in 2007 and was the General Manager until the acquisition. Volker Dahm has a degree as Dipl.-Ing. in mechanical engineering as well an MBA from the Leipzig Graduate School of Management (HHL).
