New Video! Leak Detection With High-Flow Sniffing Enables Greater Speed and Distance

In industrial sniffer leak testing the sniffer probe is typically moved at a certain distance from the part. Distance might depend on geometrical constraints or safety requirements. In robotic sniffing for example, the distance between the sniffer probe tip and the part to test should be considered in order to avoid physical contact. Both in manual sniffing and in robotic testing, the higher the allowable speed for the sniffer probe movement, the faster the leak test can be finished. An additional parameter to take into account is the detector flow, as this determines if the whole leak is caught during the sniffing leak test or just a small part of it.

Check out our new video and see why only high-flow leak detectors can cope with challenging requirements and catch 100% of the leaks, even at a significant distance from the part and at high sniffer probe speed!
