High Volume Leak Alarms Necessary in Noisy Environments

Did you know that the earphone socket (3.5 mm) on the front panel of your ISH2000 leak detector  enables connection of standard computer loudspeakers to your instrument?

Connecting loudspeakers greatly increases volume output and allows the operator to use the detector away from the work station. Leak alarms heard through loudspeakers means longer probe cables can be used when  working on large objects, where turning away from the instrument can make it hard to hear the alarm in noisy work areas. Loudspeakers used must incorporate an amplifier equipped with batteries or an external power supply.

Some wireless headphones with analogue input to the transmitter can also be used. However, caution should be taken when working for extended times with closed/tightly capped earphones, as they can be uncomfortable and the sound pressure could damage your hearing.
