Celebrating 5000 Leak Detectors

INFICON recently celebrated the shipment of its 5000th HLD5000 Refrigerant Leak Detector to GREE Electric Appliances in Guangzhou, China. GREE has been using INFICON leak detectors for many years and it was a great honor to ship them this milestone unit.

The HLD5000 finds leaks quickly with dramatically fewer false alarms and is widely used in China. The instrument is the fifth generation of halogen leak detectors produced by INFICON and this experience results in exceptional reliability and an eye towards the future. Readying the HLD5000 for new refrigerants is simple through a pre-programmed list of gases or by external calibration with any halogen.
