INFICON Receives Technology & Design Awards
The distinguished trade publication R&D Magazine recently recognized T-Guard™ Leak Detection Sensor as one of the 100 most technologically significant new products and processes for 2010. The annual R&D 100 Award banquet, held in Orlando, Florida, is attended by over 600 scientists and technologies from around the world.
INFICON T-Guard enables highly repeatable helium leak detection without the use of vacuum chambers. Numerous parts from the automotive industry can be tested by T-Guard, replacing the inferior methods of pressure decay (also known as air leak testing) and water bath.
GOOD DESIGN AWARD
The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies have awarded a 2010 GOOD DESIGN Award to INFICON for the T-Guard Leak Detection Sensor.
GOOD DESIGN is the oldest and world's most recognized program for design excellence worldwide. For 2010, the Museum received a record number of entries from around the world representing world-class corporations from over 48 countries. T-Guard will be among the winning products at the GOOD DESIGN SHOW in Chicago, Illinois in June 2011.
