Thomas Parker has been named INFICON automotive market sales manager for North America. Thomas new position supports the company's focus and growing investment toward this strategic market.

Thomas had been the company's leak detection segment manager for the eastern United States. He joined INFICON in 2006 as a key account manager in Atlanta and previously served as a technical sales representative at W.L. Schoonover Inc. in Canton, Georgia. A native of Attapulgus, Ga., he holds a degree in Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Georgia. He will be headquartered in Atlanta.

New Automotive Project Manager China

Jerry Zhou (Zhou Zhaojian in Chinese version) has joined INFICON China as Automotive Project Manager China on March 1st. Before working for INFICON he spent five years at ATEQ China Co., Ltd. as Sales Manager. Jerry has extensive experience in leak detection, especially in pressure decay applications. He holds a Bachelor's Degree from the Shenyang University of Technology in Measurement & control technology and instrument. Jerry will work from the INFICON Shanghai office.

New Western Regional Industrial Leak Detection Specialist USA

Rogelio Gutierrez has joined INFICON as Western Regional Industrial Leak Detection Specialist. Rogelio will be responsible for direct sales in the Western Region (Primarily in UT, CO, WY). Additionally, Rogelio will provide technical support to MEISA, our distributor in Mexico, on Leak Detection products.

Rogelio was with Laco Technologies from 1996 to 2013 and excelled in his role of Sales and Applications Manager. He has worked with INFICON products over the last ten years and has an excellent working knowledge of our Leak Detectors and Gauges for production leak detection in RAC and automotive applications. Prior to his role at Laco, Rogelio worked for Autoliv (the world's largest manufacturer of airbags), where he worked with high-speed and precision leak testing equipment.

Rogelio has an Applied Science degree in Electronics Technology, Utah Valley State College, and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
