Upgrade Your Refrigerant Leak Detector and Have Access to New Refrigerant Gases

Legal requirements worldwide restrict and ban the use of common HFC (hydrofluorocarbon) such as R404A, R410A and R134a in refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. New gases with lower global warming potential (GWP) and better energy efficiency are replacing common refrigerant gases in a wide range of applications, including residential, commercial and industrial air conditioning and heating.  

To support manufacturers that need to adapt to new regulations, new gases and increasing environmental demands, INFICON invites you to upgrade your leak detector with the new gas libraries.  

• The Ecotec E3000 Multigas Sniffer Leak Detector  is designed to detect several refrigerants. Its gas library has been updated to include the major new generation refrigerants R422D, R438A, R448A, R450A, R452B, R513A, R417A, R452A and R454C.
• The HLD6000 Refrigerant Leak Detector  has User Gas Factors for new refrigerants already available, offering customers the possibility to set up to three defined gases.
• The Protec P3000 Helium Leak Detector has been upgraded to convert helium leak rates into new refrigerant gases.

Additionally, new external test leaks for next generation refrigerants R422D, R438A, R448A, R450A, R452B, R513A, R417A, R452A, R454C are available.
